چکیده
In this work, a power law fluid model is used to examine the boundary layer flow and heat transfer characteristics over an unsteady horizontal stretching cylinder under influence of convective conditions. It presumed that partial slip conditions exist thermal conductivity nanofluid function temperature at boundary. Through similarity transformation, coupled differential equations are converted into ordinary (ODEs), which then resolved in MATLAB with BVP4C. By contrasting computed findings published results, validity results proven. The effects different parameters on velocity profiles carefully looked analysed. As Eckert number increases, thickens. All physical factors affect local Nusselt skin friction coefficient have been studied shown tables.

متن کاملForced Convective Heat Transfer in Boundary Layer Flow of Sisko Fluid over a Nonlinear Stretching Sheet
The major focus of this article is to analyze the forced convective heat transfer in a steady boundary layer flow of Sisko fluid over a nonlinear stretching sheet. Two cases are studied, namely (i) the sheet with variable temperature (PST case) and (ii) the sheet with variable heat flux (PHF case). The heat transfer aspects are investigated for both integer and non-integer values of the power-l...
